Day 4 of the $7,500,000 XL Inferno Championships played host to another dozen events. Not surprisingly, thousands of players flocked to the virtual felt to take their shot at a title. Among the highlights were Russia’s “mne_d0edet1” taking down the biggest first-place prize of the day and “FouEnculePL” becoming America’s champ. You can read more about those stories and more below.

mne_d0edet1 Takes Down Day 4’s Biggest Prize

One of Wednesday’s biggest highlights was Event #47 $50,000 8-Max, a $109 buy-in tournament that attracted 840 players and created a $84,000 prize pool. It took 12 hours and 14 minutes for the tournament to finish, and in the end, it was Russia’s “mne_d0edet1” who walked away with the title and a $15,540 first-place prize.

Also at the final table was Costa Rica’s Michael “AcesJoker88” Acevedo, who back in March cashed three times in a poker festival in Panama. One of those cashes was for a live career-best $5,800 for finishing 17th in the PSC Panama National Championship. Acevedo managed to better that in the online tournament by finishing fourth for $6,300.
