Day 2 of the $7,500,000 XL Inferno Championships saw another 13 events play out, that also means there was a baker’s dozen worth of new winners, each of whom secured a seat in the XL Inferno Champion of Champions.

“V.BlomFan60” Takes Down Day 2’s Biggest Prize

The biggest tournament on Day 2 in terms of prize pool was Event #20 $20,000 Crocodile. The $160 buy-in event attracted 309 players and created a $46,350 prize pool. That was distributed to the top 45 players including “InJeBakkes” (13th - $579.37), Nicolas “PKaiser” Fierro (27th - $347.62), and “HappyHour4U” (43rd - $278.10).

The final table was filled with some familiar faces. The most notable was the UK’s “kevlar1991,” who finished in third place for $5,098.50 just one day after finishing as runner up in the XL Inferno Opening Event for $38,981.25.

Another notable at the final table as fourth-place finisher “CountSmegma.” The day before, the man from Denmark finished fifth in Event #11 $100,000 Sunday Challenge

Finally, there was Paraguay’s “RichieLaNuit,” who finished in sixth place, improving upon his seventh-place finish in Sunday’s Event #10 $200,000 Whale.

In the end, it was “V.BlomFan60” who walked away with an $8,968.72 first-place prize, the biggest awarded on Day 2 of the XL Inferno. Back in March, “V.BlomFan60” finished runner-up in the $120,000 Mega Deep for $20,776 after striking a heads-up deal with eventual winner tikkapekka.”

Day#3 – Three High Roller Events Highlight Tuesday’s Action

Day 3 of the XL Inferno has 11 events on the schedule including Event #30 $10,000 Lightning 6-Max and Event #38 $40,000 Tuesday Challenge. However, tomorrow’s biggest highlights are a trio of High Roller Events.

Both the $2,100 buy-in Event #36 $500,000 High Roller and $215 buy-in Event #37 $150,000 Mini High Roller will kick off at 18:00. Two hours later at 20:00, the $160 buy-in Event 40 $65,000 Turbo High Roller will get underway.
